The Boutique at YWCA
The Boutique is a nonprofit high end thrift store located within the YWCA Northcentral PA. Since 2013, The Boutique has been providing our community with gorgeous new and like new name brand clothing, shoes, & accessories for men, women, and children at exceptional prices.
The Boutique regularly features brands like Talbots, J. Crew, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Guess, Dooney & Bourke, Coach, Ugg, and more. We carry both fine and costume jewelry, leather handbags, and shoes of all shapes and sizes. Each item is checked for cleanliness and quality three times before arriving on the sales floor and each article of clothing is steamed to look it’s very best.
100% of Boutique sales benefit the YWCA’s Wise Options and Liberty House shelters which provide safety, shelter, and advocacy for individuals experiencing homelessness and/or escaping abuse, as well as community education and so much more here in Lycoming County.
On top of all of that, YWCA shelter clients in need of clothing are able to receive items from the Boutique free of charge. The Boutique also hosts Cinderella’s Closet each spring, offering new and like new prom gowns to students in financial need for just $10-15 each.
The Boutique accepts donations of freshly cleaned, new and like new clothing, shoes, and accessories for all seasons, genders, and styles all year round during regular business hours. If you have a very large donation or need help bringing in your donation, please call and set up an appointment with Boutique Manager Kahlie at least 24 hours in advance.
With the exception of our manager, the Boutique is fully staffed by volunteers and we are always looking for more help. Students ages 12-15 may volunteer with a parent or guardian and students ages 16+ may volunteer on their own. Please call, email, or stop by if you are interested in volunteering.
